Functions :

The activities of the Parole/Probation Treatments Services component include management of outpatient treatment programs for drug court participants and the general probation and parole population.

Staff provides substance abuse/mental health screening and makes treatment referrals as appropriate. They address addiction and recovery related topics in group and individual sessions, provide substance abuse specific counseling for the sex offender population, provide life skills services including referrals for GED and employment as needed, and manage the Day Reporting Centers.

P/P Treatment overseers provide or coordinate the provision of Certification Board-approved training for the treatment staff, ensuring all counselors are certified or registered with the Certification Board, maintaining Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention (ADAP) standards in all programs and ADAP credential in licensed programs. Finally, staff network with community providers for client services.
